A multi-tiered data processing model that mimics (in an scaled down fashion) the logic that takes place in the human brain. A neural net must be trained for each language.

I am working on creating a node using the FonixCreateNodeFile dialog box. These are my questions:
1. Word or Grammar File: Is this a simple text file with my list of words? (ie: play, pause, stop)? 2. Neural Net File: This appears to be a Fonix created file. There is a list of file names such as "usgp11FN5032", which is the one you use in your Blackfin CarDemo example, however, this file is not present in the projects. Is this something that is included in the libraries? And am I right in assuming that we do not create these files... we would talk to Fonix? 3. Dictionary File: Again, this looks like a Fonix created file. One is said to come with the SDK would I create my own Dictionary Files?

I am working on creating a node using the FonixCreateNodeFile dialog box. These are my questions: >>I will try to give you some help. 1. Word or Grammar File: Is this a simple text file with my list of words? (ie: play, pause, stop)? >>A grammar is more than a list of word. It has its own logic. I do not know if you have access to VoicIn documentation, perhaps i acan send it to you. There is a good example for a pizza service. >> Grammar is a simple text as for example in C: char grammar[256] = "$grammar= play | stop | pause;" you load it in a Node and then you run recognition in that node so if you say some of the words "play, stop or pause" the recognition will give you a good score.
2. Neural Net File: This appears to be a Fonix created file. >> That's right. And you cannot change it. (you don' need to change it at all) There is a list of file names such as "usgp11FN5032", which is the one you use in your Blackfin CarDemo example, however, this file is not present in the projects. Is this something that is included in the libraries? >>I am not sure that you have the whole Fonix distribution. you have to see these files somewhere. You need them for recognition. What distribution do you have? (linux, windows)? And am I right in assuming that we do not create these files... we would talk to Fonix? >>that's right. These files are not created.
3. Dictionary File: Again, this looks like a Fonix created file. >>That's right! One is said to come with the SDK would I create my own Dictionary Files? >> I think you cannot. But you can make some nodes where you can specify the set of words to be recognized. I do not know if it will help. Do you have voiceIN documentation? sincerily, J
