When installed properly the registry setting "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand" will point to the location of VoiceDial. Whenever the BT headset button is pressed, the application defined by this registry value will be executed. This action is only valid on HTC WM 5.0 devices thus far.

As you may know HTC has a frimware problem with the Bluetooth headset on the Sprint 6700 device. The workaround for one touch activation on the Bluetooth headset after the product is launched is as follows: Instead of using VoiceDial 2.0 WM5 PPC that was designed for the product, use VoiceDial 2.1 SP2003 that is for the smartphone platform.

Rick I've been a user of voicedial for years. I have the sprint 6700. you are saying to use the voicedial 2.1 for smartphones in order to be able to start voicedial from my bluetooth. please clarify. If i touch my button on my motorola bluetooth (the latest one) would i be able to start voicedial

Rick a few more questions if you do not mind when i used voicedial in my prvious pda's (ppc 2003) i was able to bring up the 2mb version of uk english. This sounded much more "human" can i do this with my sprint ppc 6700. How would i do that

Rick Also, I spoke with Tim K. Hong awhile ago. He mentioned that you were working on a "caller id" version of voicedial. Is this still going to happen. I tried ms voicecommand, but unless i did something wrong, the caller id did not turn on the speakerphone on my ppc 6700 and it was rendered useless. It would be great if you can have a voice caller id that is tied to the contacts. Thanks again, you have a great product

Still in the works, sorry. We have limited resources and I am not sure where that one landed.

I have a Cingular HTC 8125 and the software is working great....until I place a call with the bluetooth headset, then the software will no longer respond with the bluetooth - in other words; I can only complete one call from the bluetooth headset with the software. Any suggestions?

I have a cingular 8125 also. I was going to purchase this software however after It works one time with my Jabra JX-10 it won't work again untill i reset my HTC. Please advise if there is a registry hack. I really enjoy this software and will purchase if I can resolve this issue.
Thank you
