Working VoiceDial with Bluetooth:
1) Launch the Bluetooth Headset. You should hear some kind of clicking noise, which is saying the audio gateway is open
2) Launch the VoiceDial Program
3) Begin Speaking

Hi.
Is there a way to have this working without step 2? Pressing the button on the BTh for 2 seconds brings up the built in Voice Tag application, but it would be nice to have the VoiceDial application activated instead.
FYI: The device is a qtek 8310.

In the registry, there is a setting under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand\
Under that entry, there is a path setting, which defaults to the VoiceCommand software that ships with the phone. If the path is changed to point to VoiceDial, it works great. I used:
\Program Files\Fonix\VoiceDial2EN\VoiceDial.exe
I hope this is of help to other users.
By the way, my phone is a Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard)...

I have a question - is there any way to get Fonix to activate when you use a bluetooth kit like the Parrot CK3100 which supports access to Phone VoiceTags.
I have installed Fonix - the path in VoiceCommand is set to Fonix but when I use the voice tag feature on the parrot - it defaults to the phone voice tags and not Fonix.
1 )How can I force Fonix to turn on when voice tags are selected? 2) How can I force the use of the bluetooth connection when starting fonix from the speeddial (3 in my case)
Help!!!!

So I got it to work with the following:
1) jetware mobile Hands Free extension 2) BT Audio Toggle
The combo of both allows ALL audio to be sent to the car kit. Cool!!! I have three feature improvement requests 1) Improve the voices - I dont need 8 I cant understand. Give me 2 2) Why cant I choose "groups" to have the voice dial do the voice analysis on? I have 1000 contacts and cannot go and choose which ones I want to have in the system 3) If I have TWO contacts with the same name (say a person has an address abroad and in the US and I use two different records - you DO NOT give me the ability to choose...... This is a major bother as the way my contacts are sorted it always picks the wrong one. Perhaps Fonix could say - TWO contacts found ... Do you want the one starting with 617...... The user can answer yes no or other.
I hope you guys monitor these comments.

We are working on this. Bluetooth is device driven. But I cannot tell you directly things that may crash your device. I have posted advice from others and others have posted. I will log the issue.
