VoiceDial will always check to see if AGC is enabled. If it is enabled then it tries to disable AGC automatically. When VoiceDial is done it sets AGC back to the original setting whether enabled or disabled. If this is not happening you disable it by going to Start > Settings > System > Microphone AGC. (Steps may vary per device)

I am having problems with the "dial a number" process. I have a Cingular 2125 and a plantronics bluetooth headset. It works pretty good except for it seems to get confused with "6's" at the end of a number. Usually thinks it's an "8". Most other numbers it does fine. It does very well with recognizing my contacts. May be just using the headset.
