VoiceCentral is currently not supported on the Windows Mobile 5 platform. I do not have a timeline on when it will be yet. I am sorry about it and would like to offer it, however we are a small company with limited resources.

I am using VoiceCentral 3.1 on a Cingular 8125 running WM5.0 - I am having intermitten Bluetooth issues. If I launch the application from the device my Motorola HS815 works just fine. Within the VoiceCentral Settings Bluetooth is enabled. Sometimes when I use the button on the BT adapter to launch the voice software I just here a "beep" - and nothing more; Sometimes (rarely) it works. I was having this same problem under VoiceCommand for this device and read the post about using VoiceCentral for the 8125 to resolve this issue. I have checked the registry of the handheld: HKLM\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand Path = \Program Files\Fonix\VoiceCentral\VoiceCentral.exe
What do I need to do to make the button on the BT adapater luanch the VoiceCentral software?!

I just downloaded the trial of VoiceCentral for my Cingular 8525 and so far so good. The only thing is that when I check something in the Options tab of Settings, they do not stay checked. For instance, I want to enable "Quiet Mode". I check the box and hit the "ok" button. When I go back into Settings...Options, the box is not checked. Is this a known issue?

Dear Sirs,
I have been using VoiceCentral successfully on my i-mate PDA2k running under ppc2003 successfully and indeed have recently upgraded to ver 3.0.
I cannot, however, get ver 3.1 for WM5 to run on either of my WM5 devices. I have a HTC TyTN and an i-mate K-JAM. :(I have tried loading the product into main memory as well as on to my storage card.
I do note on the forum that there is a reference to a patch in a posting by Rick Price, Administrator on Oct 25, 2006. I also notice that the size of the 3.1wm5.0 download at 1.39mb is much smaller than ver 3.0 at 2.79mb, however, this might be because the UK Roger voice is not an option in the 3.1 ver. Is it, in fact possible to use UK Roger voice with ver 3.1?
I would be most grateful for your assistance in this matter.

When I start VoiceCentral 3.1 on my Audiovox PPC-6700 it asks me if I want to update my contact list. Whether I answer Yes or No it freezes -- with the rotating 4-paned Window in the center of the screen -- until I reset. Can anyone help?

To check the number, on the mobile device, click *Start*, click *Settings*, and then click *About*. If the build number is 14847 or higher, the device has MSFP installed.
Email me at VoiceDialSupport@fonix.com if it does.

I have a few issues with Voice Central:
1. I downloaded it from club imate site paying $29.95 but when I installed it, it says 'Evaluation" version and I did not receive any key from i-mate.
2. I have an i-mate Jasjam and a Sony Ericsson bluetooth. I installed VoiceCentral today. Initially I was able to launch VoiceCentral using the bluetooth headset button. Suddenly it stopped working and now neither does VoiceCentral launch when i press the headset button nor does Jasjam's own voice dialling application work (this was working perfectly well before I installed VoiceCentral). 3. Even when the bluetooth launch worked initially, when i dialled a number the call was not getting activated in the bluetooth headset (even though i was able to see the bluetooth icon). I had to use the handset to have a conversation.
PLEASE HELP
EDIT:
OK I found the registration key in the text file.

Changes made in contacts are not getting reflected in the 'Contacts' tab in Voice Central Settings. In the 'Options' tab in Voice Central Settings when I check the radio buttons marked "Quiet Mode" and "Scan Contacts for Updates" they do not remain checked and revert back to an unselected status once I select Ok and open settings again.

I think you are saying that you are changing something in Outlook and then VoiceCentral is not picking it up. You can rebuild the compiler. In Settings for VoiceCentral you will find Contacts and when you leave it it will ask to Rebuild if you have not done it. Demos @ www.fonixsupport.com

Ok I downloaded and installed VoiceCentral for Mobile 5 on 6700PPC. Now what? Can access settings but how do i activate the program itself? Nothing happens when I hit the VoiceCentral Icon. Help? (it's almost like the Settings Program is installed but the actual program isn't)
